I can proudly say that I met the director of
this excellent documentary here in Bristol, and more proud to say that
he is a friend of mine. What I like about it is that it is not only a
documentary but it is like a short film, with characters and a question which will be answered at the end.
If you care about our planet you'll like it.
Funnily enough, I was just checking this note. I don't need this man to tell me what I already can see with my own eyes. http://uk.news.yahoo.com/sir-david-attenborough-warns-that-humans-are--a-plague-on-the-earth---110250496.html
This
is a quote from Matrix, made me think apart from the entertainment
'Agent Smith: I'd like to share a revelation that I've had during my
time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species and I
realized that you're not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet
instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding
environment but you humans do not. You move to an area and you multiply
and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way
you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism
on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A
virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet. You're a
plague and we are the cure. ' A bit extreme but we should look at it
when we can.
